TreeTop Adventures trails are intentionally designed for self-discovery making personal guides unnecessary! Most of the time personal guides will not be needed. However, we do have personal guides available to be hired for the following purpose:
A Guide can climb with a child and provide access to trails that are rated “climb with adult”, in a situation where the child’s guardian is unable to climb with the child.
Guides are only available by reservation at least 3 days in advance
Personal Guide Reservations are for one hour of your climb time, generally the last hour (to allow children access to the "reach" trails that require adult supervision)
The Parent/Guardian must remain on site – this is not a child “drop off service”, but rather a way to enable a child to climb a trail that requires adult supervision
Tips for guides are suggested, not required.
What is the cost of a Personal Guide?
Personal guides are avaiable to experience the course with you for $40 for one hour of climb time (generally the last hour of your climb time). Guides can climb with children in a 1:5 Guide to children ratio. No more than 5 children will be assigned to a guide at a time.
Are reservations required for a guide?
Yes, reservations for Personal Guides are required at least 3 days in advance. If you would like to hire a guide for you or your guests please contact us at (781)-989-5800 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Payment required at time of booking.
What trails can be used with a guide?
Climbing in the park with a guide does not change our trail guidelines. A guide can provide access to trails that are rated "Climb With Adult". Please see the table below for more information on what trails are open to which age groups, and the kind of supervision that is required.
