Get Ready for Your TreeTop Adventure!

Before Coming to the Park

1. Sign Waivers

Complete your digital waivers right through your confirmation email. Once you fill out your online waiver it goes right into our system. No need to print it!

  • • Waivers are on-file for 1 year from the date signed - If you have turned 18 since the last time you climbed, you will need a new waiver.

  • • If you signed waivers online before making a reservation, we can look your waivers up when you check-in and add them to your reservation.
  • Bringing friends or children that aren't your own?

  • Have friends or parents sign waivers ahead of time! You can send the waiver to others via text or email on the "Invite Others" tab of your reservation dashboard (click "View/Manage Reservation" in your confirmation email, Anyone under 18 must have the waiver completed by a legal parent/guardian; anyone who is 18+ can complete their own waiver).

  • • You can view who has filled out waivers on the "Waivers" tab of your reservation dashboard, and send reminders to parents/guests.
  • 2. Proper Clothing

  • Closed-toed Shoes - Sneakers are great! NO sandals, flip flops, ballet flats, Crocs, or similar type shoes.

  • • Comfortable Clothing - Nothing too baggy that might get caught in your gear. Dress for the weather! Wear layers in case you get hot/cold. TreeTop Adventures will remain open in light rain, so if the forecast calls for showers, bring a raincoat.

  • • Long hair needs to be tied back

  • • No loose jewelry - all jewelry should be taken off while climbing to ensure nothing gets caught in your equipment or lost.
  • 3. Food & Water

You are welcome to bring food and drinks with you into the park. We recommend bringing some snacks and plenty of water! You will have many opportunities to take a break for a snack/water in-between trails. We have benches and picnic tables for guests to use, as well as water stations for you to stay hydrated.

    5. FAQ

Checkout our Frequently Asked Questions before coming to the park, to answer any questions you may have.

    Check-in & Pickup Tickets

  • • Once you have gathered your entire party, please come to the registration trailer located by the parking lot to check-in. (If you haven't done your Liability Waiver in advance, climbers will complete their Liability Waiver on one of our tablets or their cellphone).

  • • After your waivers have been verified, we will issue you your tickets, and you will have some time to put things back in your car and/or use the porta-johns before getting all of your gear on. (You will be in a harness for 2+ hours, so it is best to use the bathroom at this time).

  • • Once all of the parties for your time-slot are checked-in, we will take you through a safety briefing, and send you down into the park. Our staff will help put all of your gear on, and then take you through practice lines where you will learn how to use your equipment. Once that is complete, you will have 2+ hours of climbing time.
  • Directions & Parking

TreeTop Adventures is located on the campus of the Irish Cultural Centre at 200 New Boston Drive, Canton, MA. Once you turn onto New Boston Drive, go straight and follow the signs for the Irish Cultural Centre and TreeTop Adventures. Once you cross under the arch of the Irish Cultural Centre, park as directed by the signs in the first parking lot to the left.

  • • Leave all backpacks, purses, wallets, etc. in the car. We have limited storage cubbies for you to put things in. It is best not to put valuables in the cubbies.

  • • Bring a credit card or some cash in your pocket for drinks, snacks or souvenirs. You have a paid reservation, so you won't need anything to check-in other than the First and Last name on your reservation.

  • • We have a key board where you can hang your car keys if you don't have pockets for them.

  • • Cell phones and GoPros are welcome at the park. For anyone who wants to take pictures with their phones, be sure to wear something with a deep pocket so you can keep your hands free for climbing. GoPros should be mounted on the chest or on head gear (you will put on after you are harnessed).

  • Our minimum age to climb is 7 years. Our minimum weight limit is 35 lbs. and maximum weight limit is 265 lbs.

The Chart below shows the 4 course levels we offer at TreeTop Adventures (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert) and how many trails we have at each level. (3) Beginner (4) Intermediate (2) Advanced and (1) Expert Trail. Climbers can climb various levels of trails, depending on their age.

  • "Supervised from Ground" - Climber can be by themselves on the trail, but needs to have a parent/guardian supervising them from the ground and guiding them verbally when needed.

  • "Climb with Adult" - Climber needs to have an adult (18+) accompany them on the trail.

  • "NA" - Not allowed on the trail due to the difficulty and height of the elements. No acceptions can be made.

  • "Solo" - Can climb on the trail without an adult or active supervision on the ground. Climbers under 18 still need a parent/guardian to be in the grounds of TreeTop Adventures.
  • Daily Closing Procedures

Please be aware of our Hours and the time that TreeTop Adventures closes in the evening. Four of our trails (Black, both Blue trails, and one Green Trail, Giant's Causeway) close 30 minutes before Park closing.

If you have not reached the Half-way Point on the Black trail by 15 minutes before Park closing, you must take the "Escape" down to the ground.

The bridge to the Main Platform closes 15 minutes before Park closing. No more trails can be started once the Main Platform is closed.

    Inclement Weather Policy

We are open rain or shine! Please arrive dressed and prepared for the weather. In the event of extreme weather (thunder/lightning or high winds), the courses may have to temporarily close--similar to a swimming-pool--until the weather passes. TreeTop Adventures staff have full discretion on high wind closings and will inform climbers of any closures at the main platform.

If a full park closing due to weather should occur during your visit, you will be given the option to extend your ticket time and wait it out (depending on availability), or receive a pro-rated voucher (depending on the time left in your climb) for your next visit.

If there is already inclement weather before your arrival time, you can reschedule your reservation to another day. You can "cancel" your reservation at any time prior to the first ticket starting, right on your reservation dashboard (click "View/Manage Reservation" in your confirmation email to get to your dashboard). You will receive a gift card as compensation for your payment that will arrive in your email. Gift Cards never expire and can be used when you are ready to make another reservation right online.
