Get Ready for your TreeTop Adventure!

Thank you for planning your Group Outing with us! We can't wait to have your group climbing in the trees!

The information below will hopefully answer any questions you may have, so that you and your guests come fully prepared for your TreeTop Adventure!

Before Coming to the Park

1. Sign Waivers

Every climber needs to have a digital liability waiver signed to climb in the park (anyone under 18 must have the waiver completed by a legal parent/guardian; anyone who is 18+ can complete their own waiver).

If any of your guests have climbed with us once already this year, they do not need to complete a new waiver. The exception to this rule is if they have turned 18 since the last time they climbed; if that is the case, they will need a new waiver.

To make your check-in process quick and smooth, you can invite all of your guests/parents to sign waivers ahead of time via text or email.

You can distribute the liability waiver to your guests in two ways:

1) Send a waiver link to guests/parents via email or text - Don't worry, this invitation will not alllow access to the rest of your reservation details like payment information.
  • • Click "View/Manage Reservation" in your confirmation email
  • • Click the "Invite Others" tab
  • • Send a waiver link to guests/parents via text or email
  • • Check which waivers have been signed in the "Waivers" tab

  • 2) Put the waiver link into a digital invitation or email
  • • Click "View/Manage Reservation" in your confirmation email
  • • Go to "Waivers" tab
  • • Press the button, "Copy Link to Clipboard" and paste the url into your electronic invitation or email
  • 2. Proper Clothing

  • Closed-toed Shoes - Sneakers are great! NO sandals, flip flops, ballet flats, Crocs, or similar type shoes.

  • • Comfortable Clothing - Nothing too baggy that might get caught in your gear. Dress for the weather! Wear layers in case you get hot/cold. TreeTop Adventures will remain open in light rain, so if the forecast calls for showers, bring a raincoat.

  • • Long hair needs to be tied back

  • • No loose jewelry - all jewelry should be taken off while climbing to ensure nothing gets caught in your equipment or lost.
  • 3. Food & Water

You are welcome to bring food and drinks with you into the park. We recommend bringing some snacks and plenty of water! You will have many opportunities to take a break for a snack/water in-between trails. We will have picnic tables reserved for your party, as well as water stations for you to stay hydrated.

    5. FAQ

Checkout our Frequently Asked Questions before coming to the park, to answer any questions you may have.

    Check-in & Pickup Tickets

  • • Once you have gathered your entire party, please come to the registration trailer located by the parking lot to check-in. (If you haven't done your Liability Waiver in advance, climbers will complete their Liability Waiver on one of our tablets or their cellphone).

  • • After your waivers have been verified, we will issue you your tickets, and you will have some time to put things back in your car and/or use the porta-johns before getting all of your gear on. (You will be in a harness for 2+ hours, so it is best to use the bathroom at this time).

  • • Once all of the parties for your time-slot are checked-in, we will take you through a safety briefing, and send you down into the park. Our staff will help put all of your gear on, and then take you through practice lines where you will learn how to use your equipment. Once that is complete, you will have 2+ hours of climbing time.

    Climbing & Dining

If you want to have pizza/cake/catering at TreeTop Adventures, please let us know so we can reserve a picnic table for your group. Below are some guidelines to help you organize the food portion of your outing.

Group Outings Generally run 3.5-4 hours:

  • • 30 minutes of onboarding (briefing, harnessing & practice)

  • • A little over 2.5 hours of climbing

  • • 30-45 minutes of dining (you can arrange for your own food delivery or serve cake)

  • While we strongly recommend you save food for after your climb, groups can arrange to arrive early and eat in the course before you gear up, practice and head onto our course.

Regardless of whether your group chooses to eat before or after your climb, everyone in your party needs to complete our safety brief at our check-in area, and receive climbing passes before heading down to the course.

If you are planning to arrive early to eat, please notify us in advance so we can plan picnic table assignments ahead of time.

Groups are welcome to have food delivered to the course. TreeTop Adventures is not responsible for the delivery of food items to the course. To ensure your food is delivered successfully, we request someone in your party is on the ground and ready to receive your order at your scheduled delivery time. We ask that you instruct the restaurant delivering the food to:
  • • Deliver the food to the "Newgrange Counter" by our main platform (see map of park above)

  • • Call or text you when your food has arrived

  • • Clearly mark your group's name on the items being delivered

  • • Leave all backpacks, purses, wallets, etc. in the car. We have limited storage cubbies for you to put things in. It is best not to put valuables in the cubbies.

  • • Bring a credit card or some cash in your pocket for drinks, snacks or souvenirs. You have a paid reservation, so you won't need anything to check-in other than the First and Last name on your reservation.

  • • We have a key board where you can hang your car keys if you don't have pockets for them.

  • • Cell phones and GoPros are welcome at the park. For anyone who wants to take pictures with their phones, be sure to wear something with a deep pocket so you can keep your hands free for climbing. GoPros should be mounted on the chest or on head gear (you will put on after you are harnessed).

  • Our minimum age to climb is 7 years. Our minimum weight limit is 35 lbs. and maximum weight limit is 265 lbs.

(3) Beginner (4) Intermediate (2) Advanced and (1) Expert Trail. Climbers can climb various levels of trails, depending on their age.

  • "NA" - Not allowed on the trail due to the difficulty and height of the elements. No acceptions can be made.

  • Daily Closing Procedures

Please be aware of our Hours and the time that TreeTop Adventures closes in the evening. If you plan on having food delivered to TreeTop Adventures, keep in mind the closing time and plan accordingly.

To ensure you have the best climbing experience, please arrive 15 minutes BEFORE your reservation start time to allow time to complete waivers/check-in and use restrooms.

Please note our trail closing policies:

We will close our more challenging trails (2 Greens, 2 Blues & Black) 30 minutes BEFORE close to allow climbers enough time to finish these more challenging trails.

If you have not yet reached the halfway point on our Black trail (Single Black to Double Black) 15 minutes before the park closes, you MUST take the escape to the ground.

The main platform will be closed 15 minutes before the park closes for the day. No new trails can be started once the main platform is closed.

    Reschedule Policy

If you cannot climb on the day of your reservation for any reason, you can reschedule your group outing to another day. Please send us an email to or call 781-989-5800 to tell us what day and time you want to reschedule your outing to, and please provide your reservation number.

    Cancellation/Inclement Weather Policy

Group Cancellation and Inclement Weather Policy:

TreeTop Adventures can still operate in the rain, and climbing in the rain is still safe and fun! If you plan on climbing in the rain, please arrive dressed for the weather. If you do not want to have your outing in the rain, there are some options:

    • Group Outings can be cancelled 3 days or more out from the event with a full refund. Please call us at (781) 989-5800 or email us at and we will cancel the reservation and refund any payment that has been made.

    • Group Outings that are cancelled within the 3-day timeframe will not be eligible for a refund, however, we can reschedule your outing or issue a gift card for the full amount of your reservation, which can be used for a future reservation. Gift Cards never expire. You can cancel your reservation from your reservation dashboard. A Gift Card will be automatically generated and sent to your email address.

    • Any unused tickets that you have on the day of your reservation can be sent to you in the form of a giftcard that you can use to make a new reservation, or can be given to the guest(s) who could not attend.

    • In the event of extreme weather (thunder/lightning or high winds), the courses may have to temporarily close – similar to a swimming pool – until the weather passes. TreeTop Adventures staff has full discretion on high wind closings and will inform climbers of any closures at the main platform.

    • If we see severe weather in the forecast, we will reach out to you to reschedule or send you a gift card for your outing. If a full park closing due to weather occurs during your visit, you will be given the option to extend your ticket time and wait it out (depending on availability), or receive a prorated voucher (depending on the time left in your climb) for your next visit.

    • Groups that are a “no-show” for their reservation on the reserved day/time are not eligible to be refunded or rescheduled.
